Chinese Calligraphy has been appreciated as an art form, valued as same as painting and sculpture in Chinese culture.
Chinese calligraphy dates back more than 2,000 years. It also ranked alongside poetry as a means of self-expression and cultivation. Basic materials used by calligraphers today are: brush, ink, and rice paper.

All materials included, participants do not need to bring anything but welcome to
bring their own favourite calligraphy set

Jiangang Su is a classic Chinese painter & calligrapher known for his Gongbi paintings,
various styles of calligraphy and seal cutting. He has been a close disciple of the renowned master YAN Gongda since the age of thirteen. He is also an avid educator and collector of Chinese arts. He holds a senior-level Chinese Calligraphy Teaching certificate in China and has taught for more than 2 decades. Master Su is currentlv the artist in residence at the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden.
