Celebrate Vancouver with this beautiful autographed collection of hand-drawn sketches and stories by artist Emma Fitzgerald.

Explore old favourites as well as the not so well-known places that make Vancouver such a unique city. Join author/illustrator Emma FitzGerald as she explores the city through this beautiful collection of sketches. All drawn on location with pen, and accompanied by the anecdotes and stories she sees and overhears.

About the Artist:

Emma FitzGerald was born to Irish parents in Lesotho, a small mountainous kingdom in Southern Africa. She moved to Canada at a young age and spent most of her childhood in Vancouver, BC. These early travels instilled in her a keen interest in people and places.

Fitzgerald has followed a career of part architecture, part art, receiving a BFA in Visual Art from the University of British Columbia in 2004, and a Masters in Architecture from Dalhousie University in 2008. She is the author and illustrator of Hand Drawn Halifax, a best-selling book based on her chosen home in Nova Scotia, which has been described by The Globe & Mail as “part journal, part sketchbook, and a love letter to Atlantic Canada’s largest city.”

Fitzgerald has also illustrated two children’s books
